AllHailMarduk says: If I'm being honest, my experiences as a Christian were almost entirely characterized by receiving unsatisfying answers to my questions. When I gave up on asking questions that received non-answers, I started to suspect that perhaps I should be more generally skeptical of the entire thing. This led me to in-depth study of the Bible, which led me to study other religious texts for comparison's sake. I soon realized that they all rely on the same kind of reasoning. As that reasoning is deeply flawed from my perspective, I left religion entirely and immediately the pieces fell into place and the world made sense for the first time. I'm now an agnostic atheist and existential nihilist, although I didn't know that term decades ago when I was fifteen and all this occurred.
