jdth says:

I was born in a conservative Muslim family. All the things that are taught by religion are always in practice in our daily lives, especially in the event of the day. Obligations of a Muslim is always to remember God and to worship five times a day. We were taught to always do good with living beings, nature, yourself and also to God. To be honest, I feel uncomfortable being born in a family that was so conservative, I can say my mind as a Muslim woman is very open and sometimes very western. Sometimes I think some of the rules in Islam does not make sense to me, I sometimes still use to logically reason that I should make sure it uses the stretcher with heart or what we call "faith". One day I think that actually Religion is a political thing that purposely created by a man to make a rule that is recognized by humans in the name of God. However, it may be wrong because sometimes people tend to think short and arrogant. To be honest, because I was born on the restrain and conservative family, when I was given the "freedom" I'm always going to try bad things that I've never tried even I know it is totally wrong But one thing is for sure and I believe, it will be time I'll really learn to understand this and love my God even more, someone will comes to me really lead me to be a better person from now and every second is worth it to wait :)
